Raton Golf Course

Tucked up against Vermejo, a Ted Turner Reserve, Raton Golf Course offers an opportunity to play in one of the truly untouched regions of the country. Depending on the season, wild turkey, bear, deer, elk and more can be seen from our greens and clubhouse deck.

Raton Golf Course is a nine-hole course nestled against the foothills of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains. The surrounding scenery includes views of majestic New Mexico mesas along with ancient volcanoes. A variety of wildlife on and near the fairways is a common occurrence. Raton Golf Course opened in 1919.

The course features 6116 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 71; 5186 yards from the women’s tees, par 72 and 5558 yards from the mid tees, par 71.  This fun, challenging course offers the opportunity to golf 18 holes through the placement of additional tee boxes. Raton Golf Course is open to the public with no membership required. We also invite you to play in our tournaments.
